Why is Delivery not Immediate for Certain Products?

We do not have all items in stock all the time, but we can still deliver them, just with a slight delay whilst we receive them into our warehouse.

Each item in the shop has a symbol and text to advise you of the stock status.

International and Over Weight Shipping

Whilst we launch our new shop we will initially only have calculated rates for the UK up to 200kg. If you are outside of the UK and/or the total weight is above 200kg you can place your order and we will contact you with a shipping quote that is specific to your requirements. Once the quote has been prepared you will receive an email, you can then login and pay for the order.

For Professional Use Only

Equipment sold on this webshop is for professional use only.

If you require items to be 'Ready To Go', so you do not need to wire them yourself, please contact us for more details.

Fluids & Aerosols

Items such as smoke fluid, paint and fire retardant spray can not be shipped by Royal Mail. Please do no select this shipping option, as we will not be able able to ship it.

Aerosol based products can only be shipped to addresses within Mainland UK, please contact us for further information before ordering.

Shipping Rates

We have carefully chosen a number of carriers to handle the goods from our store. Depending on the weight and size of your order you will be offered one or more choices of carriage types. Here is a list of the current charges.

Orders placed on the site Monday to Friday by 14:00GMT and where the goods are showing as in stock will be despatched the same day, orders placed after 14:00GMT and on Saturday or Sunday will be processed and shipped on the next working day.

Whilst A.C. Lighting endeavour to ensure that goods are shipped as described above, once the goods have left our warehouse, they are in the hands of the carrier chosen at checkout. We will do our best to assist you with questions on goods that have not arrived with you, however goods shipped via Royal Mail are difficult to track due to their systems. We recommend the use of Citylink where you specifically need goods on a specific day.

Order Tracking

We will provide you with order confirmation, despatch confirmation and tracking details, via the e-mail address that you provided. The webshop will also provide details of your orders status.

Order Security

To keep the transaction as secure as possible we use an SSL certificate and send your payment direct to Protx, our payment gateway, so we never store your credit card anywhere. This is the best possible way to conduct business online.

When completing the checkout process you will see the standard padlock symbol in your browser, along with a unique security seal at the bottom right of the page.

We also keep you secure by using the Verified By Visa and Mastercard Securecode system, these are called 3D Secure, more information is available here.
