Event / Event Plus 68901 MFP (IC2 on CPU Card) |

Due to supply problems, 64-pin DIP versions of the Motorola 68901 MFP chip may be replaced with a surface-mount device on an adapter card that plugs into the existing DIP socket. The adapter card is suitable for use on both the EVENT and EVENT Plus CPU cards. Future spares orders for the 68901 MFP may be supplied with the adapter card. When retro-fitting the adapter card, use the supplied cable ties to secure the adapter card to the CPU card socket.
