Vista T4/T2 New Hardware Release |

As a function of the RoHS legislation in Europe and other parts of the world, a number of parts within the Vista T4 and T2 consoles have become obsolete. This has necessitated a redesign of the CPU tray and tablet assembly. This tech note details the differences between the original V1 and new V2 consoles as a consequence of this redesign. Additionally all V2 consoles will be supplied with two pens - one with a side switch and a second without.
Note that the colours and part numbers are for those pens supplied with the console. Other colour/part number pens are available from Wacom and the best way to check pen compatibility is to test it with the console it is to be used with. The part numbers for the pens are as follows:
Replacement pens can be obtained from Jands or a Wacom distributor. When buying a pen from Wacom, quote the Wacom tablet type from the following table to ensure the correct pen is supplied.
Additionally the tablet supply voltage has been changed from 18VDC to 12VDC to suit the new tablet. A new CPU tray can be identified by its serial number as previously indicated. Other Changes
