The Event408/416 operating software is loaded from disk via the "Boot menu". To obtain a disk with the latest software release, connect to the Jands web site at www.jands.com.au and follow the links to software download. Alternatively software may be obtained from the Jands service department.

To install software from diskette into the console:
1. Turn the console power off.
2. Insert the diskette into the console disk drive.
3. Press and hold the "Record" button, while turning power on.
4. Select the "Load FLASH" option in the programmer toolbar.
5. Select the "Yes" option in the programmer toolbar. The console will load the software from the diskette, which takes about 2 minutes to complete.
6. The console will restart and deep clear when finished.
