Litecad is a CAD in the literal sense of the word; that is to say it is a computer aided design system, but it is fundamentally different from any other CAD on the market. Litecad is an intuitive use configurator created for the Litec products.

Litecad has been invented to resolve the needs of the technical staff working in the entertainment field, in theatres, in TV studios, for fair stands, and in any place where it is necessary to use our aluminium structures. With this software the designer can quickly assemble the structure to then present it to the customer. Furthermore, the list of the necessary components can be obtained instantly, together with all technical data such as weight and volume. All this is possible without having any specific knowledge of the CAD world.

Litecad gives the user the various tools for the generation of codes, price lists, and the creation of lists and labels for packaging. It can give details in £D, and it can easily explode complex drawings to facilitate the work of the assemblers.

Litecad has been written and thought up for use in the Windows® environment and therefore it automatically assumes the best characteristics for this system, starting with compatibility. It can import designs in 3DS format and export productions to the DWG format in Autocad®. It is therefore possible to include libraries containing other elements available on Internet or taken from other libraries.
