Manchester-based DBN Lighting is one of the first UK hire companies to stock the new Chroma-Q™ Color Split multi-purpose LED fixture.

The company is one of the North West's leading event lighting specialists, providing lighting design and rental services for conferences, corporate events, live music, clubs, outdoor public art and festivals.

DBN was already a keen user of Chroma-Q's Color Block modular LED fixture, which has proven ideal for lighting its diverse range of client events and is still providing a good return on investment three years later.

The manufacturer's new Color Split fixture was therefore an obvious choice to consider when DBN was looking to increase its LED rental stock inventory, as it combines the Color Block's proven multi-purpose design with the latest advances in technology to deliver improved wall washing and truss toning results.

The Color Split's unique dual side-by-side RGBA cells provide the opportunity for bold single colour or dramatic split colour effects from a single LED fixture. Other innovative features include advanced split beam technology for a very smooth colour wash from top to bottom of a surface, a unique RGBI (Magic Amber*) control mode for seamless blends in the warmer colour range, an extremely bright 620 lumen output and a smooth, linear dimming curve.

The Color Split also features a built-in power supply and stand-alone mode, making it an elegant 'one-box' solution for production and rental companies requiring a compact, single LED fixture which can be easily plugged in and set to uplight surfaces in a variety of colour effects in just minutes.
